STATE ACTION PLANNING WORKSHOPS

The 2012 Advocate Summit brings the advocate community together in a new way to focus on our unique role in implementing strategic local and national plans to achieve the end of breast cancer by 2020.   

On the third day of the Advocate Summit, each advocate will attend a State Action Planning Workshop, a hands-on training that will result in identifying a state blueprint for year two work in support of Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®.  The goals of these state-based regional works groups will be to:

• Learn NBCC's advocate action items for 2012;
• Develop regional plans for Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® year two work;
• Get trained on how to implement this work in your community.

These required workgroups that precede the State Delegation meetings will clarify your specific place in the breast cancer movement and the actions you and your fellow state advocates will be taking this year to further the mission.
