Arlington, VA and Washington, DC

The 2012 Annual Advocate Summit will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA.  Just minutes from Reagan National Airport and downtown Washington, DC, the Hyatt Regency and surrounding area will offer many things to make your visit enjoyable!

Getting around town:

The Hyatt is located in Arlington, VA.  Many attractions and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Please visit the hotel concierge desk located in the Hyatt lobby to receive directions and walking maps of Arlington and surrounding areas.

Public transportation is offered through the Washington Metro Transit Authority via public bus and Metro service. The closest Metro stop to the Hyatt is the Crystal City stop on the Yellow and Blue lines, which is approximately six blocks away. If you do not want to walk, Hyatt offers a complimentary shuttle to and from this Metro stop. Shuttles leave from the Hyatt every 30 minutes. WMATA website.

Taxis are available at the hotel 24 hours a day. All taxi cabs now follow the metered system for fare explanation and payment.


Things to do:


Arlington offers a wide variety of attractions close to the Hyatt.  Shopping in Pentagon City, dining in Old Town Alexandria, a visit to Mount Vernon and much more are offered in and near the Hyatt.  For a full list of attractions please visit the Arlington Visitors Bureau website.

Having received a breast cancer vaccine in 2009, I am very proud of the progress being made by Artemis Project and totally believe we can actually PREVENT breast cancer by 2020 or sooner!
