As someone who cares about ending breast cancer, I have pledged to raise $1,000 to support Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®, the National Breast Cancer Coalition's global initiative to end breast cancer by January 1, 2020.

Your contribution will support programs like the Artemis Project® to develop a breast cancer vaccine; research collaborations on stopping metastasis; education and training of advocates; and public information campaigns that build knowledge about breast cancer and the need to focus on prevention and saving lives.

As a leader, I will be attending NBCC's Advocate Leadership Summit with over 250 grassroots leaders representing organizations, individuals and families impacted by breast cancer. We are giving up four days out of our busy lives to study the facts about breast cancer, learn how to be leaders in ending the disease and develop plans to advocate for change and mobilize communities behind Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®.

We will come together to learn the latest information about breast cancer and participate in intensive Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® action planning that will impact thousands of community members, survivors and their families.
